I have an old army buddy who was a mustang (went enlisted to officer). He was in town for a conference and he took a full bird along with him when we met up for dinner and drinks. I swear if I hadn't known any better, I would've thought that colonel was a brand new private in basic training on his first weekend pass..lol

The house I'm living in now, belonged to a col. He taught ROTC at the local college for awhile. He wasn't to bad. My neighbor's dad was a 1 star general in the Air Force. Biggest azzhole I've ever known.
He was so full of himself. Even after retirement. He still though of himself still in. Couldn't adjust to being a civiy. Barked orders to everyone. It was funny when I told him to go pound salt one day.
