That’s because you live on the “Edge” & he’s 3/States north of you.
DD & living in a State that sees freezing temperatures = All Season Tires.
Otherwise they’ll crack between the tread & prematurely fail,,,I’ve seen this happen.
Continental DW’s 06 is what we currently run on our Police SS Camaro fleet; but only because Michelin doesn’t offer AS3+’s in their size.
