Default Shift Knob Buzzing Noise High RPM

Hey guys I got my 370z about 6 months ago and the shift knob has always made a really bad buzzing noise after 5k RPM which I thought was from the stock shift knob. After I replaced the stock shift knob with the M-Spec shift knob from Z1 the noise was still there.

I also removed the little metal piece from the stock shift knob which other members said was their source of noise but it did nothing.

I even bought a rubber grommet with a 1/2 inch hole like I've seen another member do but that did nothing as well. I can not figure out how to get rid of this noise and it's driving me crazy.

The homemade two piece grommet I made didn't stop the buzzing noise either.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
