Well, I got my hands on the Z1 25 row kit as mentioned above. I got an excellent deal on here from another member who had the kit NIB and is selling his Z, but never got around to putting the cooler on.

Install was fairly easy, it took about six hours (including going and getting oil) mainly because I recorded the install for my YouTube channel that I’m starting. After I leak checked everything, I buttoned the car up and took er for a spin.

The oil temps never got much above 190 in a combination of pinning the throttle on open parts and in moderate traffic. Usually it would have been at 220 plus.

This is interesting, not a bad idea at all. I did something similar on a R1 I used to own. I was considering Uprev and an administration tune just to get rid of the laggy throttle. But the cost for gain is high because I haven’t done any performance mods....
