Thats what i was thinking also. upon driving my car more, i just realized that the whine is something to do with the clutch. In netutral, I put the clutch pedal all the way down, and immediately noticed less idle noise obviously but i gave the car some throttle and that whine is gone, when i let go of the clutch and i blip the throttle that whine is there.. gets a little higher in frequency the higher i rev.

Maybe this will help narrow down the issue?
