I've always said it depends upon the item. Especially with the exhaust/intake/wheel debate. People like to spend big money for a big name sometimes when something not so expensive will function just fine. If it's a garage/trailer queen I can almost agree with going with the best money can buy because it will rarely see elements or abuse but for the daily guys it's usually function. In all honesty most people can't distinguish a 370 from a 350 let alone know that the Fast Intentions catback that you spent 1200 on looks very similar to any Beluga/Top Speed/ etcetera. Plus I've seen both sides of the tracks. Here in Illinois if it's not meticulously cared for you will see rust or corrosion eventually.
