Default Custom Titanium Shift Knobs ($100 Shipped)

SOLD OUT but could make some additional if enough folks are interested. Thanks Guys!

I run a large Aerospace Manufacturing company and we had a 3 ft. bar of 6-4 Titanium laying in my Director of Engineering's office that the certifications had become obsolete (we would not be able to use the material to produce parts for our normal Aerospace clients).

I purchased a Z1 Baller Shift Knob, made of aluminum, a couple of months ago. I really liked the shape, feel, and look of the knob but felt it could use some additional weight.

Long story short, my Engineer reverse engineered the Z1 baller knob to produce a titanium one piece version (the Z1 Baller is a 2-piece design) on one of our Okuma Multus U3000. A few hours later and I had a shiny new Titanium Shift Knob.

He went ahead and machined 3 more knobs since he had some time. I already owe one to another forum member as part of some bartering we did a couple of weeks ago. So that leaves me 2 additional to get rid of.

I worked a quick quote in our ERP system to generate the cost associated, material & labor, would have been ~ $500 each. Obviously I'm not expecting that, but wanted folks to have an idea what it cost a shop like ours to setup up and run a small batch size of parts.

Qty: 0 available
Weighs 11.8 oz.
$100 shipped to continental US via FedEx
