FWIW, a Nissan dealer told me the bell housing is separate from the transmission housing. So according to them the CSC is not located within the transmission housing. It is unlikely that a 3rd party warranty will cover any part of the clutch system. Consider yourself lucky the master is covered.

Honestly, it is not worth fighting with Nissan or a 3rd party warranty company over the CSC. Even if you "win" you still end up in the same shitty situation of having a poorly designed, prone-to-fail part that could leave you stranded at any moment. Best route is to just put in an aftermarket solution at the first opportunity whether the OEM one has failed or not.
