I'm fortunate in that it's much better established now. There are way more industry standards for how to operate. In some ways it still IS a form of CYA, when it's done wrong. Used correctly, it provides a lot of valuable information on how your business should operate (but it's also a big difference from early editions). Still... it's bureaucracy. That means lot's of paperwork.
