I agree about that,,,as you only touch clutch a tad to take out of gear & about 1/2 to go in next gear,,,I know plenty of older guys that do it pretty well & their stuff last.
I’ve witnessed a lot of younger generation drivers destroy transmissions,clutches,drive lines,etc.....cause they “Rawhide” it!
I’ve heard a newer term of “Slip-clutch” shifting & others saying “floating”....I’m more old school myself.
Be safe on the road & watch out for the A/T’s...as they’re eventually will take over everything.
