I would expect more issues from the shop on deadlines and car quality component installation. Get a lawyer to send them a nasty letter immediately, detailing exactly what you wrote above. Small claims maybe later but you need a lawyer. Submit a complaint to better business. Do negative online reviews. Act civil/professional but you need to let them know you mean business. Documentation is the key and a lawyer will do that for you.
