Installing an aftermarket intake will not affect the transmission. Engine oil brand does not affect the performance of the differential. Those are not hard to prove.

But let's say you install an aftermarket intake and then start having trouble with a MAF sensor. Good luck proving it wasn't screwed up during the installation of the intakes.

I've done a variety of mods to my Z. And none of my warranty claims have been impacted by aftermarket parts or work. Others might not be so lucky. For additional details, research the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
