I'd think you were lying if I'd never worked near the IT department. My boss "kind of" oversees that as part of his role. We have this one lady who calls in regularly, wondering why her computer has changed her email password; one of my inspectors who doesn't understand that caps lock is important; and an entire team that randomly cut the wires they found in the wall, and didn't understand they'd severed the entire internet connection for their building.
