Adding one quart of motor oil will help reduce motor oil temperature and help engine lubrication. An AAM oil pan spacer will be beneficial to you if your engine does run on the warm side like mine does. As far as putting the correct torque to the extension for pick up ask questions to AAM as to what the correct torque sequence is they will be more than happy to answer your questions. In my experience the customer service at AAM was top notch. If you put the correct torque to a part you will never damage or crack anything. Thanks for the subjection the hood vents seem like a really good idea even though this hood vent kit is kind of expensive I will check it out.
