I chose pioneer for the audio processing features noted above by markesc... not sure if Kenwood's latest offerings can match.

My pioneer (3800BHS) does have one annoying bug - whenever i disconnect the battery, my bluetooth handsfree calling stops working properly (person I am calling can not hear me at all) until I do a factory reset..... super annoying to lose all your settings and I disconnect the battery all the time to tinker with stuff.
