Gents:
I count myself among those who find those yellow warning labels tacky and distracting. So today I removed the label from one visor, using the hair dryer method discussed above. I regret to report that the result was unsatisfactory. I have a 2017 roadster, and I think the label adhesion has changed since earlier models. The entire label is glued on (not just the edges), and it's a bear to remove, pulling off tiny scrap after tiny scrap. It took an hour do to this, and then I was left with a rectangle of sticky residue. It would not clean off with rubbing alcohol, and goof-off started to melt the plastic. What's worse, all that time with the hair dryer slightly stretched parts of the plastic, so the whole thing looks pretty beat up.
I just finished ordering a replacement visor from ebay (used) for $60.
My advice to you is not to try removing the label. If you find it really distracting, cover it up with something. Cheers!
