If you’re on a road course track with only just over 1/4 tank you are definitely getting fuel slosh starvation. Generally people see right hand slosh starvation by the time they get down to 3/4 tank if not earlier. At 1/4 tank it’s going to be a mess.

The return correction kit you speak of is a CJM product (mine). It only applies to return fuel vehicles, and non return fuel vehicles don’t need it to have a functional siphon system. The stock regulator handles that.

Edit: I’m realizing now that you have a 350z. Those don’t slosh starve as bad as a 370z but at 1/4 tank you’re definitely pushing it.
