Searched and searched online. Found nothing except people saying its the tire or wheel well rubbing. This is definitely something of s mechanical nature.

If it's tire/wheel rubbing there should be signs of it on a tire or in the wheel well. It has to leave a mark somewhere. I have also experienced tire belt separation & or slippage on previous vehicles. Sometimes, depending on the severity, you may be able to see or feel a deformation on the sidewall , a slight bulge on the tread area, or cupping wear on the tread area. Be sure to check the inside wall of the tire also. If the noise is there under all times, only differing in speed or turning, jack up the front & check for a bad wheel bearing perhaps. Give the wheel a shake while grasping it at the 12 & 6 o'clock positions. Hope this helps a bit.
