As usual, there will be $5.00 show entrant donation fee per vehicle that will go to this group/charity. Spectators will have a separate parking lot (Lot B) next to the show lot. Spectator parking is free, but you are welcome to still donate to the group/charity if you would like.

The Stony Point Solar Car Team is based in Round Rock, Texas at Stony Point High School. Their team is a passionate and dynamic group of aspiring engineers. They have built and designed their vehicle over the past few years. This project has provided them the rare chance to expand their classroom knowledge and collaborate with industry professionals while creating a roadworthy, efficient vehicle powered by the sun!

They also work with local schools and organizations to educate young children in elementary and middle school about STEM as a career as well as instill a passion of automobiles. The annual race at the Texas Motor Speedway will test their abilities to apply their mechanical and electrical knowledge, and work as a cohesive unit to achieve a common goal.

Come join us, check out the car, and support this team of young automotive innovators!!! If you would like to volunteer your expertise or skills to the team please feel free to talk to them at the show.
I won't be able to attend this show but look forward to the one in February. It will be interesting to see how the new location works out.
Just wanted to give you guys and gals an update about next week Cars and Coffee. Spoke to a friend who has been out at the new location. Be very CAREFUL going in and out of the parking lot. This is due to a big dip in the road. So if you are lowered, take NOTE and be careful going in and out of the lot. For those of you that will be attending, take pictures and let us know what you think of the new location. Hope to see you guys there in February.
