I think it was Doran Racing that had crank problems at sustained 8k rpm use on track. Also, VVEL blew up on one guy's Z (Megan370?) with 8k rpm track use. It's not just oiling that fails with higher revs, it's just that oiling fails first. If it's a street car, you might be fine forever. Both guys I'm thinking of had track-only cars.

$2500 for heads, another $600 for cams, $1200 for an oil pump, another $1000 or so for the random odds and ends you'll need - you're pretty close to what TopgunZ will be selling his sc kit for, and that will be more power by far. The cost per dollar for a NA build gets wacky after you get past the usual bolt-ons.
