gear indicator

HELP! I recently installed a Top Guns s/c and deleted the UpRev tune for EcuTek . After picking up my car the gear indicator was stuck on a solid R . I hooked up a scan tool and somehow managed to get a blinking N . How do I rid myself of this eyesore other than a piece of electric tape. (15 Nismo w/ manual trans) :wtf2:

I don't see where there was ever a resolution to this issue. First off, it is very unlikely that anything got "fried". I had the same problem when I flashed the ECU with an incorrect ROM based on the wrong ECU part number given to me by my local dealer. The steps to fix this problem are simple, see pages EC24 - 25 of the FSM. Takes less than 1 minute. Or take it to the dealer and have them fix it with their Consult III. It's a procedure done anytime the sensor is replaced, the ECU is replaced, or the indicator is flashing "N". FYI my dealer had no clue how to fix this until I told him. The info came from UpRev. SRev and indicator will work as before.

Right on bud. Thanks for sending me the info. I can't take the insanity much longer! Between the TX heat wave and the N flashing I'm going to lose my mind
