noob Q for oil change.

I got noob Q. is ester oil synthetic? ive used ester oil 3 times so far for the maintnance service. but i would like use standard regular oil from now

I got noob Q. is ester oil synthetic? ive used ester oil 3 times so far for the maintnance service. but i would like use standard regular oil from now on. is it ok?? cuz dealer charge me ester oil so much.... I heard if i used synthetic oil, i can't go back to use regular oil...
