2009 Nissan 370z 6spd Sport Package Platinum Silver Coupe For SALE!
2009 Nissan 370z Coupe w/Sport Package, 6 Speed Manual Transmission
The Z has only had me as the owner; I am selling it due to life changes which prompted me to purchase a vehicle with backseats. As result it is unwise of me to continue to have two vehicles which are financed and am having to sell my favorite toy. I have always had two vehicles at my disposal and have been fortunate enough to not have to daily drive the Z, The vehicle is in great shape and has only 18K miles, for a 2009 Nissan which was indeed purchased in 2009 with 100 miles on the odometer when I took possession of it from the dealer that is not bad at all! It is Platinum Silver in color with a black interior, the vehicle does not have the touring package, it does however have the sport package which includes the big brake upgrade, the 19' wheels, syncrorev match, a limited slip differential and the rear spoiler. The vehicle still has a Texas inspection which has about another year on it, please review the below listed details as I will do my upmost best to accurate describe the vehicle and assist with your purchase decision. The GOOD! (And to some you may not find that "The GOOD" list is right for you, if so this may not be the right car for you) As I mentioned before this car was intended to be my weekend car, it has never been "raced" however it has been autocrossed twice in its lifetime, never taken to the drag strip and never been to a real race track. I had intended to modify the car to be an autocross weekend car; needless to say I took my car to JMS Racing in Converse Texas to have the following modifications professionally installed (all at the same time!). • OS Giken Triple Plate Clutch w/lightweight flywheel (this alone was upwards of $3,000) the clutch only has about 4k miles since the install and has never seen the autocross! • Z1 Motorsports 370z Stainless Steel clutch line ($30) with the additional pressure of the triple plate and the overall weak plastic oem unit the stainless steel clutch line greatly improves reliability • ZSpeed Heavy Duty Concentric Replacement Clutch Slave CSC ($325) this coupled with the OS Giken Triple Plate Clutch will ensure you never have a problem with the clutch sticking to the floor or any pressure problems the Z's are notoriously plagued with • Stillen Gen 3 Dual Cold Air Intake ($525) • Stillen Lightweight Pulley w/Gates Belt ($170) • Fast Intentions Cat back Exhaust System Carbon Fiber Mufflers & 18' resonated X pipe ($1535) in my opinion the best exhaust on the market, review the370z.com and find out why! Also it is a significant weight savings over stock • Fast Intentions Long Tube Headers ($1250) also a significant weight savings and when coupled with the cat back makes for a baby Ferrari! The headers run straight through the catalytic converters this may be an issue with stringent smog testing aka California, otherwise not an issue • Z1 Motorsports 370z Oil Cooler 34 Row Setrab w/Thermostatic sandwich plate ($600) an absolute must have if you plan to ever plan to push your Z or if you live in warmer climates, the Z is notorious for overheating and this solves that issue, I never get temps above 180F now, and the car is in San Antonio Texas so we know a thing or two about hot. • Stillen Short Throw Shifter ($255) with the stock shifting linkage the throws were long and not sporty at all, I have had a S2000 in the past and this shifter puts the S2000 shifting to shame, prior to the upgrade however it felt like I was shifting a truck • Nismo Aluminum Shift Knob ($90) • Uprev Tuned ($500) The car was dyno'd by JMS as they needed to do so to properly tune the car and make sure there weren’t any problematic check engine lights, the base dyno had the car putting down 280 rear wheel horsepower (this was prior to the installation of the mods) the dyno pull afterwards was 330 rear wheel horsepower on pump premium grade gas. Now the Z is advertised at 332 horsepower from the factory, well that’s incorrect on a dyno because the 332 horsepower advertised by Nissan is at the flywheel not at the wheel. Overall with the mods were I advertising the car as a car manufacturer I would be rating the car at 380-390 horsepower, but on a dyno you will put down 330. Lastly to this point I want to emphasize that the mods on the car are pretty basic, high end but basic power adders and reliability mods, nothing that would damage the engine or internals as im not pushing crazy power nor had the intention of doing so as this was meant to be a weekend driver and occasional autocrosser. Total out those cost and that’s $8280 in parts alone, not including labor which was easily another $2000-$3000, this car has been modified yes. But it was done right by a well renown performance shop, the car has never been raced or even autocrossed with these mods on the car as I have not had the opportunity, not to mention the vehicle needs new tires but I’ll explain that below. Now I do not intend to be ridiculous and price the Z expecting to get my money back for the mods that are in it, far from it. That said I do believe with the miles and care the vehicle has that it should sell solidly for Just above KBB, the reserve is set JUST Below. Judging by the other 370z's being sold on EBay this is the best buy for the price, mileage and the extras, not to mention no dealer fees or haggles. The not awesome... The front and rear tires are bald and need to be replaced, the car is still on the original factory tires however after 18,600 miles they need to be replaced. I want to also emphasize that the car has not been abused; you can judge this by the fact that the tires have made it this long! The factory tires are averaging 15-25k miles on Z's. The rims are powder coated matte black, the powder coating job was great! The reason I am mentioning the rims is that they have curb rash only on the driver side rear and front, the passenger side rims are in good shape. The reason for the curb rash you ask, well the Z has some pretty questionable blind spots overall and parallel parking proved troublesome for me. The car has two small dents, not quite sure how they got them but they are there. One in the driver side front fender and one on the hood, I was quoted $150 by the dealerships paint less dent repair to fix these issues. I have not done so because I am trying to stop putting money in the Z not the opposite, they are very small and not immediately noticeable however if you know where to look and get up close and personal you can see them, they are about the size of a penny. Also the paint is not damaged whatsoever where these dents are. The car has a small half egg sized blemish on the hood where the paint is slightly damaged. Very small however this is the one paint issue the car truly has that you can’t get rid of with just a good clay bar and wax. I say small half egg size blemish because that’s what it was, some hooligan threw an egg at my car which hit the hood, and this occurred during Halloween and was the only egg to hit my car. Lastly, the car has been in a fender bender. This was a minor occurrence at a parking lot where an older lady in a midsize vehicle pulled out as I was driving through the parking lot. The damage was to the passenger size rear fender, it was very minor and professionally fixed by the insurance company and GUNN Collision here in San Antonio. The replaced parts was the rear fender and then the color matching of the paint, total it was $1700 in repairs, like I mentioned very minor but it is not my goal to trick anyone or deceive. I have all the paperwork form the collision shop and the work is lifetime guaranteed and transferable, I will provide the paperwork to the winning bidder upon picking up the car. The Obvious!! The car is a stick shift with a triple plate clutch, so you really must know how to drive stick in order to properly drive the car, if you don’t know how or are still getting used to it then it will take a few weeks to really get the hang of how quickly the clutch engages. The car currently has sparco seats in the vehicle, I have the OEM seats and all the wiring is still factory. The car will come with OEM seats with the airbags, this is good because the seats are pretty much brand new, the reason I have not taken them off is that for an additional $500 which we can arrange after the sale then I can leave the seats in, the sparcos are $400 each and with the sliders and the rails cost about $550 each so certainly a bargain, the downside is you are losing the airbags in the seat if you choose to retain this option. Also the OEM seats would still come with the car the buyer would just need to figure out a way of picking them up as they don’t exactly fit in the car with seats already in it. The car has a lien on it from USAA Federal Savings Bank as I am still paying on the car, ideally the easiest and best route for the winning bidder would be to go down to the bank with me and we can get it all done and squared away within 30 minutes. Title The title is clear other than the fact that I have an outstanding conventional loan on the vehicle that is easily satisfied. See the information below under "payments - financing" TITLE TRANSFER INFORMATION I have an outstanding loan on the vehicle through the USAA Federal Savings Bank, which has the bank in San Antonio. This bank can do their part to transfer the title if the buyer and I meet at their branch with a certified check during business hours. There are other options as well but this would be the simplest, if this is not an option the winning bidder and I can arrange to have the title transfer process done through the phone and through the mail once the auction ends. DELIVERY I can deliver the vehicle once payment is received by the bank of course, anywhere between a 300 Mile Radius of San Antonio, the buyer will have to take me to a bus stop if they choose this option, I can arrange for delivery further but am uncertain as to the cost of such, I will only do so in the Continental U.S, and I imagine the cost is between $1000-$1500 to do this, this cost will be the buyers responsibility. INSPECTION The car is currently available for inspection in the San Antonio area. The purchase process must be complete within 14 days MAX, not 15 days of the auction close, please no tire kickers, I understand that some may have to arrange for time off work and the process of picking up the car, going to the bank and such may take the better part of an afternoon so please plan accordingly. PAYMENTS - FINANCING Financing arrangements for the sale will have to be handled by the buyer. You might want to review if you're a Texas resident check the Randolph Brooks Credit Union or Security Service Credit Union, they have some of the best loan rates in Texas - as low as 1.99% during their periodic specials. SUMMARY Again, this vehicle is in outstanding cosmetic and mechanical condition and the reserve is priced to sell. Please email me with any questions or concerns. I will attempt to answer all emails within one day. I didnt include pictures because I tried and failed miserably, however follow my ebay link and you can review all the pictures i posted on ebay as I have the car for sale on ebay as well.
