I do not own car outright so we would have to pay off my loan. There is nothing wrong with the car mechanically or cosmetically.

$27k OBO, KBB is around $30k

Would consider trades for civic, corolla, anything cheap reliable and good on gas. Obviously needs a considerable amount on top but we can work something out, thanks!

I haven't had any problems with the car, also trade in was slightly below what I'm asking and price is obo. Thank you for your input though

wow what dealer are you trading in at? cause the last guy who was selling it went to a couple of different dealers and the best they would offer him was about 22-23k.. if there is a dealer that is willing to give you close to ur 27k asking i would jump on it, cause honestly the car is just not worth that price.. there is a silver touring/sport/nav with only 8k miles on it selling for 27k on here right now.. so if a dealer is gonna give u close to that for one without nav and 37k miles do it before they change their minds.....

Sounds like a plan.

A dealer can show you any number on paper it doesn't mean you are getting it. Blackbook for a 09 Touring is 24,600 anything over 12k miles a year and they are going to deduct from that.

I remember when you were looking for this car. Guess those payments were too high for ya. Your gonna take a bit hit on this lesson learned. I did the same thing when I was 19, kept a car 2 years then dumped it for something cheap.

CK, sorry to see you let the car go, such a beautiful color and ride, GLWS.

exactly what i am saying... if he took the car to a dealer and just traded it in and not bought another car that is what they would give him, 22-24k like i said in my first post. i think the reason the dealer offered that much was because he was looking at another car. so they were just disounting the other car..

im glad to see someone else understands what i have been saying about real car values.. it is the main reason why i have not bought one yet.. i am still looking for that perfect deal...

Realistically the dealer probably has the ACV of the Z at 22.5-23k and is making him think they are giving him more on his trade. No way a dealer goes above average black book on a high mileage Z.

Just curious what was this car selling for on here when he bought it and how long a go was it?

AmbitiousCK 05-19-2011 08:33 PM

Never had any problems with the car, i could easily handle the payments but i wasnt going to be paying that much for a car i didnt love. Car was traded in for exactly what i paid for and they gave me 2500 off on the car i bought. WINNING!!! lol
