*UPDATE* Trade my C6 Vette for a 370z
sold!!!!!!!!
glws, nice c6 you got there :D
your looking for an even trade, right?
GLWS! I had an almost exact clone, an 05 with 35000 miles that I sold on Corvette forum last year. I asked 30 for it and sold it in 6 minutes.
How much are you asking? Even trade?
Thanks guys!!! Yeah, I am just looking to straight trade, depending on the condition of the z. I don't even have a single rock chip on this vette (that I can find at least lol) so I just want something thats similar in quality. Not really picky on color, but NO YELLOWS! lol, not a huge fan of that color for some reason:tup:
Sweet 'Vette! Good luck with the Z hunt.
Love it!
Looks sweet!
Wow your Z06 is absolutely beautiful! Good luck with the sale!
Very nice glws
Well it's not actually a Zo6, just the body is.
Very nice looking vette. GLWS
Why would you give this baby up... that thing looks sweet.

Thanks guys! I have a pending trade on the vette, so as of now its not available any longer. If anything changes I will keep you guys posted. Thanks!
Nice cars! I cant wait to have you as an owner in this community and see what you have in store for a 370 =)
I love all black Vette's. your going to notice a big difference power wise when shifting to the 370z. Not an issue if you plan to turbocharge the Z ;)
What numbers were you making with that beauty? GLWS Quote:

And that is where the reboot of Knight Rider messed up.... Shoulda used your Vette. That thing is sick, I love my Z but I don't think I'd be givin that beast up to get into one.
sound is sick!
do up some trade pics of both if you can... stories like this are great to read |

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the compliments! The vette is supposedly making 410rwhp, depending on the dyno that number will fluctuate. |

Thanks man! I checked out your z progress, keep up the good work  Heres a pic of my old 350z, hopefully its progress like this that you will see on the 370z if the deal goes through! http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/8...eencapture.png http://img845.imageshack.us/img845/5994/imag0332t.jpg http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/6293/imag0359.jpg http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/6742/012vlm.jpg :happydance: |

Wow nice C6. Just curious, why would you want a 370Z over a 400+ whp C6? I've driven both and the 370/350 is considerably slower. With a LSx vette, you can easily get 500 rwhp NA, whereas the 350/370 your dropping 10k+ for a TT kit that's going to be way less reliable and your relying on boost for all your power. The NA LSx is instant power all the time. Maybe you don't care about Performance and just prefer the Z as a daily driver?

imo, the Z handles better, at least under my control. I can do the same lap times in my 370 with 100 less whp than I could in my C6 at Road Atlanta.
not intrested in g37?

I can second gas mileage thing as surprisengly the vetter gets way better gas mileage than my 350z before it was TT'ed.
Kickass 350z you had bro. Cant wait to see what you up to once you get the 370 ;) |

Fun to drive will go to the C6. V8 rumble and instant torque (360whp at just 2700rpm) makes it a win. Also power does keep going on with no drop in the higher rpms. As for handling, autocross is not fun for the C6 as its too wide and you'll have to take tight corners wider which results in slower time. For road course C6 takes my vote. Both cars are good as dialy drivers but i feel the Z is easier and more comfortable in longer trips  |
No worries, I don't mind the questions! The vette is supposed to go from 1st to 4th, its called skip shift and that, along with a long 6th gear help the gas mileage. The ship shift was very annoying so it has a skipshift eliminator which allows you to shift normally like any other sports car or manual, but that does decrease the city mileage. Most vette guys got rid of that feature right away, and GM just wanted to avoid new buyers from paying gas guzzler tax which is why the vette, although it has a 6.0l v8 doesn't fall under the "gas guzzler" category :)

Anyhow, thank you both for your responses. -Mike |
Back in february I went to a local dealer they had a 2008 vett for 31,000. I went to see it and if it was good I was ready to buy it. But it turned out it had 57k miles. Thats when I saw the MB 370z. So i test drove both first the vett then the z the z only had 15k for 29. So I ended up with the z because I fell in love with the way it drove and had enough power. The vett was yellow with black stripes and auto tranny. The tranny and miles were the deal breakers for me. But to be very honest with y'all and myself I still like the vett a lot more and I still want one really bad. I would trade mine in any day of the week. But I guess I gotta wait a couple years untill I'm able to. But the whole point of this is I would take a vett over a z.
