Do not expect the little blip of gas in the rev match to handle the entire shift. You might want to try it with the Rev-match off as long as it doesn't also turn off some traction control or something.

I learned how to drive stick by test driving used cars. Of course, revving the gas to 3k and dumping the clutch wasn't exactly good practice for daily driving but it helped nail down the basics.


A nice hill always helps find that sweet spot in the clutch too

the spot of the clutch is best find on a flat surface you just slowly start taking off the clutch until the car moves (no gas applied) and then its only muscle memory

i don't know about you guys but one of the reasons i like driving a manual trans. car is the fact that not everybody can drive it very well. to me it is sorta like excel in a sports that other people find challenging.
