also, someone in an earlier post asked me about what they were offering me at the dealer and they offered us $27k (what a joke!). so that is why we declined. i actually had my sister call them up with how much that one costs, and they quoted her $41k.
hope that answers all of the ? to this point. i will not be around for the next week or so, i got other engagements i HAVE to do.

I will say you might want to actually post pics in the thread. Most people aren't going to want to have to go link/pic hunting in your albums. If you want to hook them they want to see it here. Especially when you're asking what you are... Thats pretty high honestly. Considering you haven't paid anything for the car so it would be straight profit. Just a thought that people looking at your asking price will consider...

You know honestly you aren't going to find anybody to buy it at $37k. They list for $41k, but you can get them from dealers for about $36k for a 2010. Adding to the fact that it's technically a used vehicle no matter how many miles, your realistic asking price should be somewhere around $34k and it will sell fast on Autotrader or whatever. I might not mention it was free, or people aren't going to want to give you its actual value.

wow, still no pics on said $37k vehicle. Something tells me this sale is not going to be quick and smooth.:shakes head:

$37,000 for a used (regardless of the "miles" on the odom) car with a maximum MSRP south of $41,300 is not realistic - 10% under MSRP is simply not a good deal for a buyer; not in today's market; NISMOs just aren't that difficult to come by if that's what a person wants.

This thread is hella fishy

The sweepstakes ended June 28th and your join date was a few days after that time and now your pics that you
posted shows your Z with plates. Unless the Florida DMV works 10X faster than every other DMV.....Hmmmmmmmm

Good catch - that had to have been really fast since, if I recall correctly, the actual, legal delivery was done through a Nashville dealership (where the vehicle was physically delivered could have been somewhere else).

In his original post he said the title hadn't been signed over yet...I'd say that had to have changed if tags have been issued.

The rules of the sweepstakes stated that the car would be picked up at ZCON:

6. Prizes: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: A 2010 NISMO 370Z and a trip for two (2) to the 23rd
Annual International Z Car Convention in Franklin, TN, to take delivery of the Grand Prize.

So unless he has a time machine I'm not sure how he was able to have it plated in Florida in only a few days.

NIZMOZ 08-09-2010 07:12 PM

The car was sitting in the lobby at the convention hotel in Nashville. So no way he picked it up early. So a bit confused on this.

I can go to a dealer in Florida tomorrow and drive off the lot with a brand new car and a brand new license plate. Maybe it's the electronic titles or something but that is how it's done here.

I closed the deal for my car over the phone on a Friday and picked the car up with a new license plate on a Wednesday half way across the state of Florida.

Not sure how it works but it sure is convenient.

Waiz 08-09-2010 07:48 PM

^Thanks for that info, but OP said that the car is not titled so why would it have plates and not the dealer temporary plates?

Something is not adding up.

I can only assume, then, that he drove the vehicle home from Nashville to FL (I guess with a temporary tag???) and had the car titled and tag issued within a day or two of getting back to FL.

That still does make one wonder why the winner of the contest was a non-discussed issue at ZCON.

I am VERY confused at the moment :icon14:. If OP doesn't come through with a clear response within 24 hours, this thread will be deleted.
