They called me and said they would get my car advertised on 30 different car sales sites internationally (Canada is the int. Part). Said it would also show up first on web searches for the Nissan 370z (before Nissan themselves) and all this other crap for a fee of 499. I'm thinking scam but you never know.

Oh YES! i know those people before. If you put your car up on Autotrader.com or Cars.com they will find you and contact you "is your 370z still for sale?" is the first thing they will say.
You have to listen carefully to their selling speal. They don't gaurentee a sale, just that they will advertise you car. So your just paying an advertising company to list your car over the United States. I checked 2 company's websites who called me for my g35 I had for sale. Their "partners" aren't the biggest partners, and are mainly for CLASSIC Autotrader
Went to BBB and check into their complaints too.

Yea, the complaints were about getting refunds mostly. Because they say "if we don't sell your car in 120 days, then you can ask for a refund." Key word ASK
Then they one company told me, if the car doesn't sell in 90 days then then after 60 days you can ask for a refund. So people weren't getting there money back.
Which ever company called you, get their website addy and search'em on BBB. I chose to just not pay $500 for them to advertise me.

I'd use AutoTrader or cars.com...Actually I'd try craigs list first. People like the ones you are talking about keep flagging my ads on Craigs List and then sending emails, or calling if I put my number in the ad. Just can't prove it's them because it looks like Craigs allows anyone to flag...I just relist and ignore...I've never violated the TOS.

I've never bought or sold anything significant on EBAY but I'm told it works.

Yeah..I took a sorry *** trade because even if I sold the car at 24500 I would lose out due to the taxes. DON'T try to get any money for the Z off a trade..won't happen. Anyways the trade hasn't happened yet but as of May 10, 2010 it will so if someone wants a deal on this I'll take 25,700 right now.
