Testing the Waters: 09 PG Touring/Sports 6MT

Hey guys, just testing the waters here.

I'm putting my 09 Z up for sale b/c I would like to get a truck as a DD and build a dedicated track car. It is Platinum graphite with black interior. It has the touring and sport package.

The the car currently has 15000 miles on it and is in great shape. It now has a Fast Intentions cat back exhaust with 18" resonators. It sounds and looks great without being too loud. In fact at idle and cruise it is barely noticeable. Once you rev it up a bit it really sounds great without being too loud. It has never been driven hard (never raced of any kind). I had a GM clearbra installed after purchase and it covers the front bumper, 1/4 of the hood, a pillars and part of the roofline.

I've changed the oil at the break in and then at 3k miles after that w/ redline oil.

Im asking Reduced to $28.5k obo for the car. I'm open to reasonable offers.

The only trades I would consider would be a pickup in good condition valued around $15k. If you are interested, let me know.

Car is located in Columbia, SC

Yes I do

nice car, i'm curious though, have you ever driven/worked on the 13B? not exactly the most reliable engine. Most time attack/drift FD's have to rebuild/replace the engine after a hard day of use.

offer still open.

Looks great, in a color/option combo I like, but you can buy brand new for less (I was quoted $32,500 for a brand new PW with the same options without any negotiation).

Two-Socks 04-25-2010 09:44 PM

Yeah. Unfortunately, I'm seeing prices on these in the $28K range.

That's because you can buy a 2010 brand new for the price the OP is asking on his used 370z.

Two-Socks 08-13-2010 02:30 PM

Fair update - I really don't know why, but all the prices I'm seeing on pre-owned are back up in the 32-34K range with about 7K miles. So to the right buyer, and considering this car is beautiful, IMO it reflects a fair price.

Yeah...prices on a mass produced sports car in a market that is getting more saturated by the day tend to go back up...

Current pics added. If you don't want to buy the car that's fine, but lets not argue about it here please. Still don't need to sell it, but if the offer is right i might take it. Thanks for looking. Let me know if there are any questions.

RCGsupra 09-25-2010 12:33 PM

He is selling the touring/sport, with a killer exhaust, I seriously doubt you would be out the door at 31,500. Prove it if I'm wrong.
Its a good price man

Thank you. I feel that the price is fair as well. A lot of these comments are from when I had not adjusted the price and it was admittedly high.
