PRICE DROPPED TO 26k now.. (5/4/19)

Here's a walkaround video / cold start: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0GY4rvqgFo

Up for sale is my 2013 Nissan 370z (Genuine NISMO edition). It's in fantastic shape and is a blast to drive (In all honesty it's too quick for me).

The car was remote tuned by Sebastian from Specialty Z in California (They've done many twin turbo 370z builds and are very well known for what they do) it's currently on 18psi for the high boost map on 92 octane. It has not seen a dyno since being tuned but is likely making around 680whp to 720whp with room for more if you opt in for a 100 octane tune. In my opinion the current power it's making is plenty. The tune is very clean, I occasionally do logging during pulls just to see if anything's changed - I run shell 92 octane all the time in this car and never see any ignition correction at all - which means no knock. Seb was very thorough with this tune.

The car itself is a genuine nismo, clean title - never any accidents, I am the 3rd owner and also the one who had all the engine work done. The odometer has 42,000 miles on it, the built motor has 3,000 miles on it and was properly broken in. Compression is good across the whole motor, always very quick to start, never any issues driving it.

The exterior is probably 8/10 shape, 2 of the wheels have slight curb rash, and the driver's door has a slight scratch in the clear that could be cut/buffed out. The front bumper has very light dings from regular driving and debris hitting the front bumper (common for z's).

Interior is in great shape, nothing really to note.

Anyways, I'm asking $26,000 FIRM - The car has had much more $ than that put into it all things accounted for, but I obviously don't expect to get out of it with what I've put in. If interested - text me at 253-548-7443, I work during the days so don't take calls until after 5~ but can quickly respond to texts. I don't check the370z too often so I may not quickly respond to PM's

It's time for me to move on in life and focus on family / business, which is really the only reason I'm looking to sell. The cash from the car will give me runway to focus on some ventures I've been wanting to do for a while now.

The car will come with a few extra goodies. Including an EcuTek cable for flashing tunes, new HKS air filters, etc.

Here's a list of what's been done off the top of my head, there's likely small pieces that I'm forgetting.

Could you clarify whether your recent concerns/problems have been addressed, and how?
  • Random TPS voltage drop
  • Oil Leak
  • GTM GTR Conversion Fuel Rail Crack
  • Did 101 octane make any difference to the "knock" and ignition correction
  • The weird ticking noise

Sure thing

Random TPS voltage drop was actually from traction control during hard pulls - it was closing the throttle bodies to cut power and prevent wheelspin.

The oil leak was from a turbo return line fitting that had cracked. It's been replaced and no longer leaks.

The GTM fuel rail cracked and was leaking, we were able to repair it with some precise welding and it's had no problems since.

The 101 octane question & knock concern was before we found that the turbos were pulling oil through the open hole in the valve covers for crank venting under boost since their hose was connected pre-turbo. The vacuum from the turbos at high boost was pulling light oil into the charge piping tract and lowering octane. After we fixed it and took out all the charge piping, intercooler and cleaned it, we were able to slowly crank boost up no problem with no indication whatsoever of knock until about 20psi after fixing it, hence turning the high boost map for 92 octane back to 18psi where we were seeing no knock consistently.

The ticking under the dash I have no idea what it was, but I haven't heard it in over a month. It was definitely under the dash whatever it was.
