I understand that you want to sell the car quickly so you're not making car payments needlessly but if you need cash now part it out. Not sure what you're selling it for but you can easily tackle some of the payments if you start selling things that can easily be uninstalled like the aero kit, audio equipment, etc. Your hfcs and intakes would sell for 400 shipped a piece in a flash. Get the car flashed back to stock and sell the cobb ap. You'd be losing a crazy amount of money if you sold it without parting it out unless you're selling for 40k+ which no one is going to do. PM me or post prices for some parts if you're willing to go that route.

part it out, I'm confused as they why you can't make payments but have no problems just swallowing $15k
and for the love of God, those Fast and the Furious under lights don't belong on a Z |

another prime example of spending 15K on the car on MODS. Why can't you put that 15K towards the down payment to begin with and you'll probably have a low low payment if not fully paid off. Sorry I sound like an ******* but this is a prime example of people over modding their car without thinking about their financial standpoint. Remember guys, cars are one of the worse investments because the value never goes up...

Sorry about your luck....but like everyone else says part it out. I say this because if you try to sell it as it is now you are seriously limiting yourself to a select group of people who want all thats included. Good luck though.

good looking car.
Dont know why everyone is being so harsh about the mods. People dont mod with the knowledge of impending job loss. Post a price. Im interested. A good rule of thumb for performance mods is 50% value or less, adding to the car. |

Hi 370book --
I feel for you. Beautiful job, and it all works together. However ... of your carefully-listed set of improvements, I'd personally want less than half. Another $2-4K, I could perhaps live with. Some of your choices, I'd honestly prefer back to stock. (I won't insult you by saying which, because you had a vision, and you carried it out. I respect that.) Since you obviously love this car, have you considered future employment scenarios where this might mesh? I don't know who/what they're hiring in Smyrna TN these days, but at a certain distance Nissan's just a big company that's constantly hiring people at all levels. I would spend serious time exploring the possibilities. Maybe if you got in the door you could work sideways toward marketing ... it doesn't seem they've had any new thoughts since the roadster, and the Z cries out for more attention, and it cries out for people who are looking to bend the envelope. Best of luck, and I think a lot of people on this forum will be pulling for you. |
