And the funny thing is, the Tesla (Model S, anyway) is very clever at torque vectoring its way out of trouble in fast corners. I had one blow by me on the track at the entry to a fairly tight bend at far faster speeds than I was comfortable taking my 4C into (and I was on semi-slicks, he was less experienced than I on track and was riding street rubber, but had an instructor onboard). Despite making a dog's breakfast of the entry line, the car (bless it) got him out of trouble. I think the driver wet himself, though, as I was right on his tail by the exit and on the following straight when he should have launched himself out of my slight, I passed him easily!

Bottom line, I guess you can't really beat the laws of physics. Even if you can cheat them occasionally!
