They will not address the noise, all the solution options add weight, and more weight is the last thing the car needs.

If you like a quiet cabin check out the new Camaro, very quiet at all speeds, and weights 700 pounds more.

When I drive the Z I notice that it is noisier, especially at highway speeds but it's not noisy in an annoying way. I actually enjoy the noise in a deviant kind of way.
