I'd be running all-season tires, OEM level pads, autoparts rotors, and swapping in some 2 pc rotors, aggressive pads and tires when i actually need to go fast. No sense burning up the good stuff in traffic

This car isn't my daily driver. I drive it some weekends, and take it to the track maybe once a year. If I went more often, I'd probably have 2 sets of rotors as you said. Until then, I'll continue using one set of rotors and just change pads.
