I switched over a Chevy 1500@200,000+ w/high mileage Mobil 1 & synthetic filter,
I have a 92’ K1500 Blazer that I switched over at nearly 300,000 + synthetic filter,
Z has had since I’ve owned (8700mi.) You can switch & then switch back to conventional/ it’s not gonna cause problems.
Now- The high mileage oils have additives that will potentially swell seals a tad to control/prevent leaks,,,So that’s the only one you don’t want to swap back & forth from.
I remember when that was rumored out about using conventional & switching to synthetic...then causing leaks because of molecules being smaller; oil being slicker,etc...
You will be fine.
