Unless you know what you are doing, just chopping the wiring is bound to cause all sorts of CAN-related issues as the Nissan ECU and Body Computer throw hissy-fits at the slightest provocation.

Question: Are you ever going to return this to a road car for sale. If so, live with the extra weight, if not, you have some options.

These are all based on an aftermarket ECU and it depends then on how much OEM stuff you want to retain (ABS for one, do you want the ECU to implement traction control and launch control for another, do you want flat shift, an over-rev button and some other stuff).
