Running lean would run hotter but your fuel trims don’t indicate that and you don’t have any fuel trim faults, all your ***** new and both banks seem to be balanced. So I found something interesting....it seems we inadvertently performed the mixture ratio self learning reset procedure when we unplugged both the MAF's, I'm wondering if the computer on this car stores the fuel trims in a non volatile memory section of itself? as the FSM doesn't seem to list unplugging the battery as a procedure to reset the fuel trims
Also I've been keeping track of the fuel trims since after we unplugged the MAF's and over the last week of normal driving with a nice long trip to start off with and this has been the result....
No more gas smell after leaving the car sitting like what was happening before and haven't had an instance of it semi-stalling in this last week since our accidental reset procedure
