I got it second hand. The original owner had to drill the mounting holes, but he said there were indentions in the splittler for the holes. It replaces the hard plastic piece that bolts to the bumper and mounts to those holes. NLP has a good underneath pic. I'm not going to use support rods.


The underside of the bumper isn't smooth, so there are some ~1/8" gaps between the bumper and splittler, but not really seen unless you are on your knees. You actually gain some ground clearance. I used 1/2" spaces where the bumper curves in the middle. Fitment is very good. I will most likely purchase the side blades.
