I bought that car in November, brand new, for $29,000 with a few extras thrown in. I wouldn't go a penny over $27,000, assuming the car is absolutely pristine and you really like it. If the car is a good one and the dealer has nothing to hide, the dealer might let you know who the prior owner was and let you call him to be assured the car is good. I've done that.
