I think I replied to a similar comment about this already. If the SC does its job, you'll have to pick ONE of those numbers. A positive displacement SC is just going to increase TQ across the board on our already flat TQ curve.
500 ft-lbs @ 7500 RPM = 714 HP
500 HP @ 7500 RPM = 350 ft/lbs
If you really want both 500 ft-lbs and 500 hp (max), then TQ is going to need to nose dive starting at 5252 RPM from 500 ft-lbs down to 350 ft-lbs at 7500 RPM.
I'd say 400-420 ft-lbs across the rev range would be awesome. Plus, I think they wanted to limit it to 400 for the auto trans. Even 400 ft-lbs @ 7500 = 571 HP!
