Rusty: Thanks for the reply. I thought I had read somewhere that the bearings were able to be repacked.....but after further research you are correct.

I am confident it is not the pads. For daily I use the OEM pads, so not much threat of squeal. I have tried on a number of occasions to just softly brush the brakes assuming that I had a pad dragging, but lightly braking seems to have no effect on the noise.

I am completely stumped. The squeal is kind of embarrassing until the car warms up....
