The TT vert was a find while I was on vacation last summer (Nantucket)...kids & wife went to sleep so I started surfing Autotrader and other like sites. I tend to search for $5k and less listings to see what's out there for friends and family and came across a Z32 convertible "TT". I was skeptical thinking scam, etc...called the guy, spoke to him for a good hour and he forwarded me more photos during the call. The car had been swapped but wasn't complete (boxes and boxes of new parts including the FMIC, new urethane front bumper cover, brake pads, steel braided brake lines, tie rods, tension rods...).

Checked the VIN via autocheck and it was clean...offered him $4k for it and he said yes (it was listed for 5k). Had it shipped for $350 and it arrived two days later. Used the majority of the next two weekends to sort out all the intercooler plumbing, wiring issues, etc. and put some garage-parts on her I had left over from other projects (boost pipes, HKS BOVs, interior tidbits...and wholla...daily-driver convertible TT.

She's not pretty with an unpainted nose, but she will be eventually.
