I'm sure you know all this stuff. You're a car audio guy. To be clear, I don't think I ever said dynamat was entirely unnecessary - just that full coverage of the stuff on most panels is unnecessary. If your car is already mostly vibration-free, then very minimal dynamat is necessary. I'd imagine most people would probably feel that more is needed in the Z than the average car. I did my hatch in its entirety; I think I could have achieved essentially the same results with 1/4 of the product strategically placed in the hatch. That amount I used in the hatch should have been enough to do the entire car.
