The wider front tires have a tendency to follow every nook and cranny in the road, causing a little bit of what you are describing. Don't know the last time you had an alignment, but new tires and an alignment a few years ago really settled the front end down.
It's been a few years, and now that the tires are wearing a little, there is an occasional "oh $hit" while driving...
