I've been off of work all week so I decided to start a new 3D printed project for the Z.

I decided to make a 3D printed shift knob, and after a few iterations I have one IO like.

It's a fairly simple design printed out of ABS. I modeled a top and bottom piece and filled them with BBs and epoxy to add some mass, and then use a M10-1.25 flange nut pressed into the bottom half and used JB wled to hold it into place. I then used acetone to chemically weld the 2 pieces together and then smoothed it with an acetone vapor bath.

I may paint it, but I'm still not sure. I Kind of like the idea of knowing that it's 3d printed. I can't find my kitchen scale otherwise I'd weigh it.
