If the tire is going to fail due to defect, it will probably do so within the first 1000 miles or so and be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. You can probably get towing added to your vehicle insurance for less. Most tire warranties are prorated so the longer you drive the tire the less the warranty pays.

Well, it covers all road hazard or wear down to legal tread depth. Since i was planning on getting Michelin PSS (only $220 right now) they do come with a 30,000 mile warranty from factory. Not sure if that is any good. Do you suggest saving the $75 and not getting the warranty?
