I just installed one this weekend in my 2017 base. My car did not have the factory wire harness for a homelink mirror. I bought the mirror and a wire harness off ebay and just extended the harness and ran the cables down the A-pillar to the fuse box. There were 3 wires total, one 12v constant, one 12v switched, and a ground. I used 2 add-a-circuit fuse taps and plugged directly into the fuse box for the power and tied the ground to the chassis.
