Some people opt to leave the ~1qt of "used" oil in the system and rely on the other 5 to offset the difference. I will probably be removing the oil cooler and draining it 1 out of every 3 oil changes myself.
Depending on how the cooler is installed, removal of the bumper will more than likely not be necessary, especially if the fittings are facing downwards.
