The second and larger issue are the temp swings. It's an analog rotating dial with low, med, and high settings. After screwing around with it for 3 hours, I discovered the heating element is basically just an on/off. It'll go up to 275 degrees and then shut off. Won't turn back on until it's at 200 degrees. A 75 degree variance is ridiculous.
Already contacted CHar Broil customer service to ask about the issues or return this junk. Going to just Mastercraft next most likely.

wow, that is terrible lol Mine has a spot on the side to add chips and then it dumps them into a burn box. I'll go look at the name on the one in the garage if you give me a minute. I just sat down and my weekend just started lol.
