Second, any axle-back exhaust that you choose WILL NOT void any warranty (as long as the exhaust didn't cause a direct failure of something). For example, you install your exhaust and the clutch explodes. Since these two items are not related at all, your clutch would be covered.

Right on, I basically assumed that the manufacturer would have to be able to trace the fault back to a modification, and that absolutely makes sense, but I suppose that my trepidation comes in not knowing just how creative Nissan dealers would be in attempting to deny warranty claims. I suppose that I will simply have to take the risk if I wish to improve the exhaust sound (thus far the only aspect of the car with which I am not thoroughly enamored).
